  • Graduated in physical chemistry at Ochanomizu Women's University

Work Experience

  • Ms. Tada worked as an analytical chemist at Toray Industries, Inc., and then worked as a searcher at International Medical Information Center. Prior to establishing the patent firm TADA & MIYAGAWA, she gained considerable experience in practicing domestic and international patent cases at MORIYA & COMPANY for about 10 years. She has engaged mainly in the field of medical imaging apparatus including MRI and CT, optical materials and recording materials.

Miki Horii (B.ENG)

  • Registered Japanese patent attorney since 2007
  • Counsel for cases of specific infringement lawsuits

Education

  • Graduated in physical engineering at Tsukuba University

Work Experience

  • Ms. Horii worked at Konica, Inc., and engaged in researching optical elements and magnetic elements. After gaining experience in patent drafting and prosecution at Tomita Mishina & Kashihara, she joined Tada Miyagawa & Horii, and over 20 years in total, she has engaged in domestic and international patent practice mainly in the field of optical devices, medical imaging devices and inorganic materials including magnetic materials, amorphous and ceramics.

Mayumi Watanabe (B.ENG)

  • Graduated in fundamental science and engineering at Waseda University

Work Experience

  • Prior to joining TADA, MIYAGAWA & HORII in 2017, Ms. Watanabe worked in education industries, and then worked as a patent engineer at a private patent firm for 3 years, engaged in domestic patent cases mainly relating to mechanical/metallic engineering, and medical fields.
